ハウルの動く城を見てきた。非常に素晴らしい作品である。
冒頭のせりふは、ハウルのせりふなのだが、実に私が好きなせりふである。
ネタバレになりそうな部分は下の方に載せるとして、このせりふだけは紹介させて
頂きたい。
このせりふはハウルが90歳のおばあちゃんソフィーに対して言うせりふなのだが、
白髪のことを綺麗な星の色と表現している。この言い回しは実に素晴らしく、さすがは
スタジオジブリという感じである。今まで白髪を綺麗な星の色、と表現した方がいる
だろうか。
以下、ネタバレを含みます。
さらに、素晴らしいのは、ソフィーは荒野の魔女によって90歳のおばあちゃんに変身させ
られる訳だが、彼女はハウルに対して、恋愛感情が高まると、少し若返って見える。
恋愛をしているときのソフィーは若々しくなるのである。
この設定が素晴らしい。
恋愛をしているとき、90歳のおばあちゃんであるはずのソフィーがものすごく可愛らしく、
健気に、そして愛くるしく見えてくるのである。そうか。宣伝のあの「おばあちゃんに憧
れる若者が増えている」の意味は、恋愛という同じテーマの中で輝くシニア女性の話
だったのか、と非常に感激した。
女性が魅力的になるとき、若く見えるとき、それは恋愛をしているときだ。高齢者だか
らこそ恋愛をするときの気持ちの揺れ動きは必要だ。気持ちが高ぶる。楽しくなってく
る。90歳だからといって、100歳だからと言って、その気持ちにうそはないはずである。
人生は90歳から。
恋愛は、いつでもどこでも誰にでもだ。
生きることにハッピーな高齢者が増えることを祈りつつ、その鍵は恋愛にある、という
ことを強く思った一日だった。恋愛という最高のエンターテインメントがもっと発展すると
いい。
綺麗な星の色をなびかせ、熟練した華麗なトークで男と女が真剣勝負をするのだ。
